Armed with a Bachelor’s in English Literature and a Post-Graduation in Tourism and Hospitality Management, Ashiq turned down promising offers from government tourism sectors and high-end travel companies. Instead, he chose the road less traveled — entrepreneurship.
The Beginning
On October 6th, 2024, from a modest room with a laptop and a passion for exploration, Ashiq founded Tripingdom. At its core, Tripingdom was not just a travel company; it was a movement — a vision to enable everyone to “Travel Without Limits, Explore Without Boundaries.”
Initially, every aspect of the company — from designing itineraries to speaking with clients — was handled by Ashiq himself. The mission was simple yet powerful: break down barriers that stop people from traveling, whether those barriers are time, money, age, or physical ability.
The Expansion Begins
As word spread, the vision started attracting like-minded individuals. Soon, Ashiq was joined by committed partners:
• Steffy Francis, Director of Operations, brought order and discipline to operations.
• Mohammed Unais, the Co-Founder, and Muhsin Moosa, became major investing partners.
• A group of young professionals like Sumayyath P (Customer Support), Jarsha K (Itinerary Specialist), and several interns added energy and new ideas to the team.
